INGREDIENTS
EASY VEGAN FRENCH TOAST
ā¾ 1 cup soy milkā
ā¾1/4 cup cornflourā
ā¾ 1 tsp ground flaxseedsā
ā¾ 1/2 tsp baking powderā
ā¾ 1 tsp ground cinnamonā
ā¾ 1 tbsp maple syrupā
ā¾ 1 tsp vanilla extractā
ā¾ 4 slices of thick sliced breadā
METHOD
ā¾ Add soy milk, cornflour, flaxseeds, baking powder, cinnamon, maple syrup and vanilla extract to a shallow bowl and whisk to combineā
ā ā¾ Dip a slice of bread in the mixture, letting it soak for about 20 seconds each side before putting it in a fry pan on medium heat with some melted butterā
ā ā¾ Cook for a few minutes each side or until golden brown.ā
ā ā¾ Top with maple syrup, fruit or even ice cream!ā
