EASY VEGAN FRENCH TOAST

French toast, combining the best two breakfast items - toast and pancakes!

INGREDIENTS

EASY VEGAN FRENCH TOAST

ā—¾ 1 cup soy milk⁠

ā—¾1/4 cup cornflour⁠

ā—¾ 1 tsp ground flaxseeds⁠

ā—¾ 1/2 tsp baking powder⁠

ā—¾ 1 tsp ground cinnamon⁠

ā—¾ 1 tbsp maple syrup⁠

ā—¾ 1 tsp vanilla extract⁠

ā—¾ 4 slices of thick sliced bread⁠

METHOD

ā—¾ Add soy milk, cornflour, flaxseeds, baking powder, cinnamon, maple syrup and vanilla extract to a shallow bowl and whisk to combine⁠

⁠◾ Dip a slice of bread in the mixture, letting it soak for about 20 seconds each side before putting it in a fry pan on medium heat with some melted butter⁠

⁠◾ Cook for a few minutes each side or until golden brown.⁠

⁠◾ Top with maple syrup, fruit or even ice cream!⁠
