EASY VEGAN FRENCH TOAST

French toast, combining the best two breakfast items - toast and pancakes!

INGREDIENTS

EASY VEGAN FRENCH TOAST

ā—¾ 1 cup soy milkā 

ā—¾1/4 cup cornflourā 

ā—¾ 1 tsp ground flaxseedsā 

ā—¾ 1/2 tsp baking powderā 

ā—¾ 1 tsp ground cinnamonā 

ā—¾ 1 tbsp maple syrupā 

ā—¾ 1 tsp vanilla extractā 

ā—¾ 4 slices of thick sliced breadā 

METHOD

ā—¾ Add soy milk, cornflour, flaxseeds, baking powder, cinnamon, maple syrup and vanilla extract to a shallow bowl and whisk to combineā 

ā ā—¾ Dip a slice of bread in the mixture, letting it soak for about 20 seconds each side before putting it in a fry pan on medium heat with some melted butterā 

ā ā—¾ Cook for a few minutes each side or until golden brown.ā 

ā ā—¾ Top with maple syrup, fruit or even ice cream!ā
