  1. Rich in Nutrients: Cauliflower is a good source of vitamins C and K, as well as folate and fibre. These nutrients play key roles in supporting overall health and well-being.

  2. Antioxidant Powerhouse: Loaded with antioxidants like glucosinolates and carotenoids, cauliflower helps protect cells from oxidative stress and inflammation, reducing the risk of chronic diseases.

  3. Supports Digestive Health: With its high fiber content, cauliflower promotes healthy digestion and regular bowel movements, keeping your gut happy and functioning smoothly.

  4. Heart-Healthy: Cauliflower contains compounds like sulforaphane and indole-3-carbinol, which may help lower cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease.

  5. Low in Calories: As a low-calorie vegetable, cauliflower makes a satisfying and nutritious addition to meals without adding excess calories, making it ideal for weight management.

Using an Air Fryer for Extra Crispy Vegan Cauliflower Wings

If you’re after that extra crunch for your vegan cauliflower wings, an air fryer is your best friend. Unlike traditional oven baking, which can sometimes leave your wings a bit on the softer side, the air fryer circulates hot air around each piece, ensuring an even, crispy coating. Plus, it’s quicker, cutting down on cooking time without sacrificing flavour or texture.

To get the best results, preheat your air fryer to 200°C (390°F) and cook the cauliflower wings in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the basket. You’ll want to give them a shake halfway through cooking to ensure all sides are evenly crisped. In just 15-20 minutes, you’ll have perfectly crispy, golden wings that are ready to be dipped, dunked, and devoured.

While an air fryer isn’t absolutely necessary for this recipe, it is a helpful appliance that saves a bit of time and results in crispier vegan cauliflower wings.

So why wait? Gather your ingredients, preheat your oven, and get ready to indulge in the ultimate vegan snack experience. With these crispy vegan cauliflower wings on hand, snack time will never be the same again.
