Silken Tofu with Garlic and Onion

Silken tofu with garlic and onion recipe that is super easy to make in less than 10 minutes, incredible refreshing and honestly so tasty.

Tofu comes in many forms, and silken tofu is just another marvellous variation that honestly gets over looked far too often. I’ve use silken tofu to make an incredible Greek Tzatziki that replicates the creaminess to a tee.

This time however, we are putting together a savoury topping to sit on top of a chilled block of raw silken tofu - yes, I said raw.

Look, hear me out on the raw silken tofu. I was at first weirded out by the concept of eating silken tofu raw, but with the addition of some bold savoury and salty flavours, like this recipe, actually results in one incredible high-protein and refreshing snack or meal.

The texture of silken tofu is very soft, and quite silky ironically. It also has a fairy creamy taste and texture.

This type of silken tofu dish is quite common in countries such as China and Korea, where a block of raw silken tofu is served with a warm topping of choice - generally the Korean version opts for some flavoursome Kimchi on top, which also works incredible well.

So if you’re looking for a quick meal, or something super refreshing during the warmer months, this is the recipe that you must try!
