Nature’s Kitchen Coles - Cheddar Range:

To start of this list for vegan cheese Coles, we have the affordable range from the house brand Natures Kitchen Coles.

Nature’s Kitchen is Coles very own plant based (and vegan) brand that has a handful of incredible options throughout the store, but there most popular range has to be their vegan cheese Coles.

The range comes in three varieties that includes:

  • Nature’s Kitchen Coles Cheddar Style Block

  • Nature’s Kitchen Coles Cheddar Style Slices (12pk)

  • Nature’s Kitchen Coles Cheddar Style Shred

Each of these products are incredible options for vegans that are searching for a vegan cheese that actually melts and has a strong cheddar-like taste.

You can find this particular Coles vegan cheese in the plant based fridge section and each item will only set you back $5.50 (and $5 for the block), making this the most affordable vegan cheese Coles.

Leftfield Provisions - Cashew Cheese:

Here’s a vegan cheese range at Coles that probably doesn’t get discussed as much as it should be.

Stepping out of your typical cheddar-styled flavours, cheese slices etc., Leftfield Provisions offer Coles vegan customers access to quality cashew-based ‘fancy’ cheeses such as Ashed Brie and Camembert.

This is huge if you’re a vegan in Australia and looking for cheeses to add to your cheese board, especially since similar styled vegan cheeses are exclusively sold online and are hard to find.

The Leftfield Provisions vegan cheese is a bit harder to find in Coles supermarket, as it is actually situated in the gourmet cheese section near the Deli. It is often tucked away with dairy or goat based cheeses, making it a highly unusual spot for vegans to even go looking, but when you do find it it’s absolutely worth it.

These soft cheeses resemble their dairy counterparts perfectly and will set you back $10 for these Coles vegan cheeses.

BIO CHEESE - Cheddar Range:

Another incredible Coles vegan cheese option is from the brand Sheese.

This UK based company has a handful of vegan cheese options available in Australia, and the three options available at Coles includes:

  • Sheese Spring Onion & Cracked Black Pepper Spread

  • Sheese Grated Tasty Style

  • Sheese Tasty Style Slices

The Sheese range offers some incredible tasty styled flavours, and is a bit bolder in flavour compared to other vegan cheese at Coles.

The range is available for $6.50 each, with the grated being $7.00

The cheese spread is perfect for a bagel, meanwhile the other two options are perfect for cheese toasties or on pizzas.

BIO CHEESE - Cheddar Range:

The OG vegan cheese Coles option has to be the cheddar flavoured range from Bio Cheese.

It’s made from Melbourne based company MyLife and the brand has continued to grow their vegan cheese offerings over the years, as the demand for more vegan cheese options become louder and louder.

Nothing beats the original Cheddar flavour range from Bio Cheese, which consists of:

  • Bio Cheese Cheddar Flavour Block

  • Bio Cheese Cheddar Flavour Slices

  • Bio Cheese Pizza Shred

Each of these are, in some people’s eyes, the best vegan cheese in AU.

The price of these comes in a little bit higher than the aforementioned vegan cheese Coles options, coming in at $9.00 for the Shred & Slices and $7.00 for the Block, but are still a fantastic dairy free cheese option.

BIO CHEESE Marinated Fetta:

BIO CHEESE - Parmesano:

The Bio Cheese Parmesano is your dairy free answer to parmesan and is another great vegan cheese Coles option.

Parmesan is a popular Italian hard cheese that has a rich and sharp flavour that can be used in a variety of ways, but I find that it’s best to have it topped on a delicious pasta dish.

If you’ve been looking for the best vegan cheese in Australia with a bit more of a stronger and bolder flavour, then the Bio Cheese Parmesano shred is a great vegan cheese Woolworths option that is available for $8.50.

BIO CHEESE - Cheddar & Crackers:

BIO CHEESE - Creamy Original Spread:

Cheer Plant Based:

Cheer is a popular cheese brand in Australia, and in 2023 Cheer hit the market with their Cheer Plant Based cheese, which is currently exclusively available at Coles supermarkets. This vegan cheese alternatively is interestingly not manufactured in Australia like other cheese in the Cheer range, but is imported from Scotland and is a rebranded product of Sheese.

If you are familiar with the vegan cheese range of Sheese, you will be at home with the Cheer Plant Based cheese range. It comes in two varieties (slices and grated), and is another popular vegan cheese Coles choice.

Bega Plant Based Cheese:

Another popular cheese brand in Australia that has entered the vegan cheese market is Bega.

Bega has taken a different direction compared to Cheer, where they have formulated their own vegan cheese option rather than rebranding. The Bega vegan cheese is made fava bean protein rather than using the typical coconut oil like other Coles vegan cheese.

The Bega plant based cheese comes in two varieties, which are grated and slices.

So there will go friends, this is a current list of the Coles vegan cheese edition.

All of the above cheeses have stood the test of time and have been available for a few years now. They are all fantastic options if you’re looking for Coles vegan cheese.

The vegan cheese range in Australia is always changing, so who knows what will be available in the months and years to come!?
